Thirsk Centre

The Thirsk Centre opened in 2006 and is located at the Thirsk Rural Business Centre and Auction Mart. The centre provides a wide range of part-time courses from single-session introductory courses to progressional courses for those employed in the land-based and related industries. 
Meeting rooms and the computer suite are also available for hire.

Weekend Dry stone walling course
Will take place 
July 24th and 25th 2010 

Why not come along and learn the basics skills required to build or renovate a dry stone wall? You will have the opportunity to build a new wall alongside the existing walls around the grounds built on previous courses. You will also have the added attraction of being part of the first ever North Yorkshire fresh air festival in the country. Every Student will get free entry to the event plus 1 free ticket for a family member or friend.

Course fee £130 

Included in the course is a years membership of the guild and a copy of the guilds handbook.
