Askham Bryan College is only four miles from the beautiful, historic City of York. As well as being a major tourist attraction, York is a lively city with lots going on. Whether you like clubs, cafes and bars or museums, theatres and cinemas, you will find plenty of entertainment in York.
York is well situated for travel to all parts of the country. Regional and national rail services centre on York and it is close to the A1, M1 and M62 motorways.
Askham Bryan College also provides an ideal base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales, North Yorkshire and the Yorkshire coast. If you don't already know this part of the country, you will find spectacular scenery and beautiful countryside that is hard to beat.
On campus you can relax, keep fit and party away. There's a fully equiped gym, sports hall, bar and other facilities. Every year we have a summer ball in a fantastic marquee. More on this to follow soon.
