'On ther job' training at your place of work with some college study at our Food Chain Technology Centre at York.

Meat and Poultry Processing

The Butchery department is a relatively small, but nonetheless important, department of the college, where depending on demand we buy in (or use some of our own stock), and butcher for bespoke courses. A range of butchery techniques and presentation skills are taught. Meat is then sold via college email to staff and butchery course attendees.

We have a range of specialist educational facilities including a state-of-the art butchery unit where 'on the job' training is provided for work based learners.
