More success for Askham Bryan College Horticulture students

Congratulations go to Askham Bryan College students Sally Hill and Jodie Wallace-Hill who are celebrating after their success in the regional final of the Young Horticulturist of the Year competition which was held recently at the Houghall campus of East Durham College.

Six students made it to the regional final, having come through college heats earlier in the year. Sally Johnson (left), who is studying for a Foundation Degree in Landscape and Garden Management, went on to take third place, earning a well-deserved cheque for £75, whilst Jodie (below), who is studying for an Intermediate Diploma in Landscape Construction, came fourth.
