To celebrate Christmas and a successful first term the equine department ran a Christmas Show and Fun Day. Over 50 students competed in classes ranging from Handy Pony to Team Showing.
With mince pies and hot chocolate galore friends, spectators and parents were kept well refreshed as they watched the competition unfold and cheered the students on. The overall prize for ‘Style of Riding and Performance’ went to Kim Richards, Foundation Degree in Equine Management student with many other students picking up prizes along the way.
The day was enjoyed by all and couldn’t have happen without the staff who organised the event. In particular thanks go to Fiona Harrison who made the day happen, so ‘Thanks Fi’ from all the equine staff and students!
Hopefully we will make this an annual event so hope to see you next year
