Young Horticulturist of the Year
The Young Horticulturist of the Year competition regional final held at Sheffield Botanical Garden on Saturday 21st March was won by Sally Johnson, Sally is a student on the final year of the Foundation Degree in Landscape and Garden Management, she won £150, a spade and fork set and the opportunity to go to the Welsh Botanic Gardens in May for the national final and a chance to win £2,000.
Aaron Hickman (National Diploma Horticulture Final year, Askham Bryan College) came a close second and won £100.
