This Extended Foundation Degree includes an introductory year for students without A levels, those who want to return to education after a period of employment, after a career break or to make a career change. The aim of the first year of the course is to enable you to develop strong academic and vocational skills which will prepare you for more specialist studies in the later years of your course. There are normally no tuition fees to pay on the introductory year of Foundation Degree courses for UK/EU citizens over the age of 19 as these are covered by a full bursary. (Please see the Foundation Degree Agriculture with Land Management for further details of the second and third years of the course).
There are no formal entry requirements but evidence of previous study at GCSE level or equivalent is required, together with satisfactory references and an interview.
