Main features

During this course you will look at normal canine behaviour and some solutions to common problems.

The course will include lectures, information sheets, small group discussion and participation.

The cost is £55 (please note there is no fee remission).

Entry requirements

An interest in understanding and learning about canine behaviour.

What you will study

Canine evolution and communication
The dominance theory
How dogs learn
Training techniques
Common training and behaviour problems (e.g. pulling on the lead, barking, food guarding, separation anxiety). 

Please note: whilst it may be possible to address general training and behaviour problems that are of interest to the group, it will not be possible to give advice on tackling individual issues in this workshop.
