Main features

This course is delivered by instructors approved under the abrasive wheels regulations 1970 (S1535). The content of the course meets the requirements of the schedule of regulations and is suitable for users in a wide range of industries and work environments including Agriculture, Construction, Engineering, Landscaping, Industrial Sites and Workshops.

Course Content:

  • The features of an abrasive wheel and how to protect yourself
  • How to operate your abrasive wheel safely and look after the machine
  • How to get the best results
  • The regulations governing the use of such equipment

Cost: £125.00 per person to include training and Lantra certification 

Equipment required: suitable work clothes including work boots (preferably with steel toecaps)
