Department: Floristry
This is a work-based floristry qualification at supervisory level. All aspects of the industry are covered including wiring, hand tieds, arrangements, customer service and time management.
You will study at College for one day each week for 36 weeks in each year. After successfully completing the course you could progress to Society of Floristry examinations such as the Intermediate Certificate (ICSF) and the National Diploma (NDSF).
Qualified and well-motivated people are in demand in all aspects of floristry. Career opportunities include managing a floristry business or running your own floristry business.

You will need a level 2 floristry qualification such as an NVQ Level 2 of National Certificate in Floristry. You must also be working in the floristry industry for at least three days of the week with in a supervisory capacity or working towards it. A level 2 literacy and numeracy qualification is also highly recommended.
