Department: Floristry
This course provides a basic grounding in aspects of floristry and will provide you with the basics required to enter employment or progress to a more advanced course. Emphasis is placed on practical skills, with some classroom-based theory sessions. There is also a full day of work experience each week.
After successfully completing the course you could progress to the Advanced National Certificate in Floristry or a National Diploma in Floristry.
Qualified and well-motivated people are in demand in all aspects of floristry.
You will usually need at least 4 GCSEs at grade E or above, normally to include English and mathematics, or an equivalent qualification.
