Main features

Arboriculturte is the cultivation  and management of trees within the landscape. Its main focus is on trees used for landscaping purposes in places such as gardens and parks etc.

Entry requirements

Level 1 qualification

What you will study

  The course includes a general introduction to horticulture, plus specialist modules in arboriculture including:

Tree management principles
Arboricultural skills (ground and aerial)
Woodland management
Horticultural science
Principles of machinery
Identification  of weed, pests and diseases
Health and safety
