Your training will primarily take place in the workplace with attendance at College on a weekly block release programme consisting of seven block weeks in the first year and five block weeks in the second year, if required. Successful students can progress to an Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 or a National Diploma in Horticulture.
There are no formal entry requirements. Your basic skills will be assessed at your interview. GCSE qualifications may be used to gain accreditation for some of the key skills. You will also need a work placement for the duration of the course. The College can assist in finding a suitable placement.
