Landscape Construction
Landscape construction provides the foundation for garden design. The skills obtained from completion of the BTEC Intermediate Diploma in Landscape Construction will enable you to competently construct hard landscaping elements such as walls, paths and paving. The course also covers wider aspects of horticulture including planting and turf laying.
The course is two days per week which provides the opportunity to develop professional skills while retaining employment within the industry.
Askham Bryan has a well established horticultural tradition with knowledgeable tutors who are experts in their fields. In addition to lectures and practical sessions students have the opportunity to represent the College in the UK and World Skills Landscape Construction competitions each year.
