LRC (Term time) Opening Hours

Monday – Tuesday       08.45 – 20.30

Wednesday - Friday      08.45 – 17.00

Sunday                        12.45 – 17.30

Vacation opening hours usually Mon - Fri 09:00 - 17:00 (but please check)

Resources
The LRC contains over 30,000 books and pamphlets.  Some of these are available for borrowing, others are reference only.  Within the LRC you will find the main bookstock, reference collection, archive, Audio-Visual (AV) room, thesis collection and Careers Information Room.

We take over 250 print journals covering a broad range of subjects.  College students and staff also have access to a selection of electronic journals and databases including WildPro, Sciencedirect and Land, Life, Leisure.

Study Areas
There is plenty of room for studying in the LRC.  There are study spaces at tables in the main library area, reference section and Careers Information Room.  There is also a large quiet study area upstairs.

There are 35 computers available in the Open Access computer area and 2 teaching computer rooms to the rear of the LRC.  All computers have Windows XP as well as access to the Internet and a printer.  There are also scanning and colour printing facilities available.
