Additional Learning Support
Learning Support is additional to that provided by the Curriculum Tutors. Learning Support can be for literacy/numeracy or specific learning difficulties to include Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Autistic Spectrum Disorder a visual or hearing impairment.
Support provided can be in class, 1:1 out of class or small groups and can be provided for:
• Additional help with Literacy and Numeracy
• Specialist Support Tutor - Dyslexia
• Study Skills
• Assignment Writing
• Notetaking
• Exam support and strategies
• Time management/planning
• Organisation
We can also arrange for Specialist assessments to be carried out.
Support can also be provided with the use of assistive technology by loaning students PDA’s, lap tops/tablet pc, Digital Voice recorders. We also have software programmes to support students using this technology.
