As a Livestock Unit Technician you will usually operationally manage the livestock-related tasks on the farm such as animal health and welfare from conception and birth through to the customer, and to support business productivity.
As a Crop Technician you will be responsible for optimising crop/plant yields through establishment, management, harvest and post-harvest operations, while maintaining and improving the surrounding environment.
The first year provides broad sector knowledge alongside specialist modules in engines and transmissions. Students then specialise in farm mechanism in the second year.
