Foundation Learning

Golf Greenkeeper Apprenticeship Level 2

A Golf Greenkeeper is responsible for the maintenance, care and overall appearance of a golf course in line with employer’s requirements.

Animal Management Level 3 – Collections and Conservation Pathway

This pathway covers general animal management, with a mixture of practical and theory studies, before moving toward specialist zoo and conservation.

Animal Management Level 3 – Companion Animals (Wakefield)

On this course students will learn about animal care and develop the skills needed to care for and handle a variety of animals.

Animal Management Level 3 (Middlesbrough)

This course covers a wide range of animal related modules with a strong focus on the biology, health, welfare and husbandry of animals in the first year and a greater emphasis on wildlife and conservation in the second year.

T Level: Agriculture (Livestock or Crop Production)

On this course students will learn about agriculture livestock production and develop the skills needed to enter employment or higher education.

Certificate in Animal Nursing Level 2 (Blended Learning)

Learn the basics of animal nursing in this one-year course covering health, husbandry, exotics and nutrition. You’ll build skills through a mixture of hands-on tasks and theory at our dedicated animal learning centre.

Practical Animal Care Skills Level 3

Learners will gain practical skills, develop sound working practices, and gain industry knowledge to help progression into higher levels of learning or into employment within the animal care sector.

Level3 Equine Science and Business Management

This course equips students with a comprehensive understanding of equitation and the science, eventing and business operations involved.

T Level: Animal Care and Management (Behaviour or Science)

On this course students will learn about animal care and develop the skills needed to care for and handle a variety of animals.
