Foundation Degree (FdSc) Management of Animal Collections with Conservation UCAS Code: D328 (2020)
This course covers the skills and knowledge that can be applied in a range of animal management industries, particularly in the areas of substantial and varied animal collections and a focus on the aspect of conservation of animal species.
There is an emphasis on project work that concentrates on specific areas of individual interest.

**Students are required to choose three elective modules, however the final combination will be determined by a number of prerequisite and/or co-requisite electives within the structure.
For admission to Foundation Degree courses (except Veterinary Nursing), students must have achieved grade C or above in a minimum of five GCSE subjects including English, Mathematics and Science or have passed suitable equivalents. In addition, for admission onto FdSc programmes, students must have achieved a pass grade in a minimum of one ‘A2’ level subject (or equivalent) or have successfully completed an Extended/ National Diploma in a relevant subject area. Using the UCAS tariff system, a typical offer for admission to the FdSc would be a minimum 48 UCAS points*.
Some students will be invited to attend an interview at Askham Bryan College and places will be subject to a satisfactory reference. Equivalent qualifications may be considered.
