This course is suitable for those who wish to learn the theory element of horticulture.
Description
This qualification consists of four mandatory units:
- Understand garden features, plant selection and planning
- Understand choice, establishment and maintenance of plants and lawns
- Understand the production of outdoor vegetable and fruit crops
- Understanding protected environments and their use in plant cultivation
Entry Requirements
A keen interest in gardening or passion for the horticultural industry.
Further Study
Upon successful competion of this course students may progress to the L2 Principles in Applied Plant Growth or a Level 3 RHS qualification in Horticulture.
