Level 2 Sport and Public Services Pathway (Public Services Pathway)

Overview

The main qualification element achieved from this study programme will be a Level 2 in Bushcraft Studies. The Public Services pathway will offer learners the opportunity to explore aspects of the public services industry including teamwork; communication, empathy, problem solving and fit for service. It paves the way for further study at Level 3 or employment within the public services sector.

Description

This Level 2 study programme gives learners the chance to seek progression to employment, further study or voluntary opportunities. The programme covers leadership skills, motivation, time management, team work and the chance to improve individual fitness.

We are lucky to now be a part of the Combined Cadet Force (CCF) offering young people a broad range of challenging, exciting, adventurous and educational activities. Our aim is to enable the development of personal responsibility, leadership and self-discipline. Each CCF is an educational partnership between the school/college and the Ministry of Defence, and a CCF may include Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Army or Royal Air Force sections.

Entry Requirements

Normally four GCSEs at grade E or above (new GCSE grading level 3).

Further Study

You could progress on to the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Uniformed Public Services.
