Newton Rigg Campus Review

Askham Bryan College has commissioned an independent review of educational provision at Newton Rigg Campus in Penrith.

College staff, students and apprentices, as well as external stakeholders, are being informed of the review this week.
Dr Tim Whitaker, Chief Executive Officer and Principal, Askham Bryan College, said: “The College’s governing body has asked the Further Education Commissioner to lead an independent review of educational provision at Newton Rigg Campus in Penrith. Staff and students, as well as external stakeholders, are being informed.”
He added: “The governing body will consider the findings and decide what further action is needed, once the review is completed. The review is anticipated to conclude in May. All courses at Newton Rigg Campus are continuing as planned for this academic year 2019/20.”
