Taster Days (York Campus Only)

Taster Days are designed for students currently in Year 10 or Year 11 who are considering studying a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification at Askham Bryan College.

During our taster sessions students have the chance to take part in a taster activity in ONE subject of their choice.  There’s no need for parents to stay, they can simply drop off and pick up at the end of the session.  Students should note that for some Taster activities, boots, overalls or specialist gear must be worn in order to take part.  Further information regarding this will be given to students in advance of the Taster session. 


You will need to complete the booking form below and click submit, as booking in advance is required.  You will receive confirmation a week beforehand sent to the address given on your booking form.  Please call 01904 772236 between 8:45am - 5:15pm or email mary.hair@askham-bryan.ac.uk for further information.

Please note Taster sessions have a limited number of places, so please book early to avoid disappointment.  You will be informed if a session is full and offered an alternative date if one is available.

Below is a downloadable parental consent form, please complete and return this (either in advance or on the day) in order for the student to take part.
