Saltaire Enrolment Information 2020
Congratulations on receiving your results, we look forward to welcoming you onto your Animal Management course at our Saltaire campus. In preparation for your studies here are some points to consider:
Dates for your diary:
W/C 31st August: you will be participating in online induction and will be required to attend a number of online sessions that week, please ensure you have a device that will allow you access for this. By the end of this week you will receive your timetables.
W/C 7th September: you will start your course, this will be predominantly online but you will be required to attend college to meet your Course Manager and undertake some practicals on our animal unit, this will be explained by your Course Manager durig induction.
PPE and equipment:
- Overalls: you will need to purchase overalls. We do have some second hand overalls at college that if you wish to purchase can be made available but please note we do not have a huge selection of sizes.
- Steel toe boots: these can be trainers, boots or wellies but they must have a steel toe.
- A waterproof jacket
- Stationery - a pen, paper, a folder
- A device that you can access Microsoft software - Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Also bring with you:
Although you will have sent a copy of your results into us please do bring a hard copy just in case we need to check these.
Please also ensure you bring some ID with you when you physically attend college on your first day (note this may not be a Monday depending on your timetable)
