Overview

A three year honours degree programme which includes skills and knowledge that can be applied to a wide range of areas within the animal management industries. On this programme there is an emphasis on animal science, health and conservation. Students on full time BSc programmes must complete a minimum of 10 weeks approved work experience to acquire a minimum of 30 placement credits.

Entry Requirements

BSc/BSc (Hons)

84 UCAS points plus 5 GCSEs including English, Maths and Science at grade C/4 or above.

We welcome external applications with advanced standing and accreditation of prior learning (APEL) which will be discussed upon application.

Further Study

Previous students have gone on to complete MSc qualifications. Several students also go on to secure jobs as lecturers, or internships in zoos and a variety of animal collections nationally and internationally as well as in research laboratories and animal health advisory roles.
