Introduction to Dog Grooming
Overview
Students will learn how to prepare, groom, bathe and dry dogs and the use and maintenance of grooming equipment.
Description
This course is aimed at pet dog owners who wish to learn the basics of dog grooming, covering how to use scissors and clippers, coat grooming styling requirements, coat condition checks, demonstration of safe and effective routines for health checks, grooming, bathing and drying as well as ear and nail care.
Please note that you may not be able to bring a dog to every class. It would be advisable to purchase a pair of safety glasses in advance of the course.

Entry Requirements
There are no formal qualifications required for this course but experience with dogs is favourable.
