Askham Bryan College’s girls football team entered a tournament last week in Huddersfield, playing three other teams. The girls played extremely well and Won the tournament over all.
Well done Players of the tournament: Daisy Sanderson and Chloe Nunn.
The Girls travelled to Barnsley for their league fixture this week. The girls battled hard in the first quarter with the score 7 – 7. After a uphill struggle in the second quarter the girls made one last push with the final score 27 – 33.

Our Level 3 Equine Event Management students organised a Valentine’s Day Dressage today as part of their assessment supported by @BettaLifeUK
Askham Bryan York Level 3 Year One Equine students enjoyed a day out at Catterick racecourse on Monday for a Careers in Racing riders Programme.
Students has access to normally restricted areas, which included the weighing room, sauna, parade ring and racetrack itself. Students were able to enter the stabling area and discussed the processes of biosecurity, horse welfare, and race day procedures and routines.
Students were able to gain a greater understanding of how the industry works and the range of job roles involved within the racing industry.
