The college’s Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) strategy aims to empower students to make informed decisions throughout their student experience and to broaden their horizons.

What to expect

  • 1-2-1 careers guidance appointments

  • Careers Events such as speed mock interviews and a jobs fair

Request a Careers Appointment

All students are eligible to access a 1 to 1 careers guidance interview to discuss their future plans. This support is available for students when applying for apprenticeships, university or employment; including completing application forms and CVs. If you are a current Askham Bryan College or UCAB Student and would like a one to one careers session with one of our advisors, please book on the below link.

You can drop by the student service hub and ask to see a member of the careers team. We can help you with deciding your next steps when you leave college, help with apprenticeships and job searching and there will be lots of events coming up in the next year – more details of these are below.
