All students who study at Askham Bryan College are required to undertake some work experience. Most students complete between 150 and 315 hours of work placement each year. We aim to match students with a high quality placement to help them enhance the knowledge and skills they gain in College and to help them become ‘work ready’. If you would like to offer a student a meaningful, high quality work placement, please contact our Employability department: email@example.com Our dedicated Work Placement team will contact you to discuss the requirements of the placement and arrange to visit you before the student joins you.
We run regular careers events involving employers. The next events will be in the 2021-22 academic year. If you’d like to bring a stand to promote your organisation to our students or offer your time to build employability skills, then please let us know how you’d like to be involved using the form at the following link: CareerEvents2021/22
