Askham Bryan College offers transport to and from College for students enrolled on our courses. We work with local coach partners to provide efficient and reliable transport to and from our York, Saltaire and Middlesbrough locations and operate from designated points around the Yorkshire region. The college’s bus services operate Monday to Friday and during term times only.
All college buses drop off and pick up from the campus and the return journeys follow the same routes as the inward journey. Current routes are constantly reviewed with new routes developed throughout the year; we would advise you to get in touch and let us know where you will be travelling from so we can assess your individual need. Whatever your transport query, we will try to help wherever possible.
Starting in September 2021, transport fees will take effect for students joining Askham Bryan College for the first time (for the 2021-2022 academic year). Askham Bryan College will subsidise a majority of the total cost of transport to help ensure that the travel fees for our students are as low as possible and that we continue to offer a cost effective, safe and comfortable method of travel to and from our campuses.
For students travelling to our York campus, costs will vary determined by distance from the designated pick-up point. There is a flat fee for students who use our transport providers to our Saltaire and Stewart Park, Middlesbrough locations.
Transport applications will be open from May 2022. If you would like any further information on transport, please contact our Transport Team by email or call 01904 772225.
