What inspired you to pursue a career in your field?

I wanted a change from farming everyday and to teach people skills I have learnt.

What do you enjoy most about your role at the college?

I enjoy getting to teach on the farm practically as well as being inside teaching the theory behind agriculture.

Areas of Interest and Expertise

I am passionate about improving the way tasks are carried about on farm especially in view of sheep and beef production.

What is your favourite farm animal and why?

I love sheep and beef cattle as every month is different with them so keeps its interesting.

What advice would you give to students looking to succeed in your subject area?

My advice is to see how other farms carry out similar tasks, especially with different breeds to be able to grow understanding and knowledge.

What book, movie, artist or podcast do you always recommend?

I love country music! Also anything old school.
