Higher Education Agriculture Course Manager, Stella Chapman wins Cogent Young Farmer Spotlight Award.
The award aims to recognise an individual that shows a high level of dedication and passion towards the livestock agricultural industry. The goal of the competition is to acknowledged and offer praise to those that are becoming the future of British farming and highlight the work they do.
Stella received the award for her success in the showring with Holstein cows, her dedication to her family farm, and her work as a lecturer at Askham Bryan College.
Stella said:”I am thrilled to have won the Cogent Young Farmer Spotlight. The fact that there were so many worthy contestants proves that the dedication of the young farmers is being positively recognised at a time when the industry is experiencing high levels of demand and pressure. I hope that this can give the encouragement to those feeling uncertain that the agricultural industry is a secure position thanks to the determination of the future generations.”
