Jesmond Dene Falls

Home to a variety of wildlife like the red squirrel and kingfisher, this tranquil wooded valley following the river Ouseburn is a beautiful walk-through nature. The walk includes many water features including waterfalls, ponds and wells created by Lord Armstrong as part of his landscaping to ‘bring movement to the water’. Close by is the ruins of an old mill perfect for photos and history lovers. The area is a great explore and has large open green spaces for picnics and BBQs!

Newcastle Gateshead Toon Tour

Saltwell park

This large greenspace is the perfect day out for families and friends. The park welcomes its visitors with their very own peacocks, guinea pigs, chickens, rabbits and more! Further down, you can find floral arrangements, a Japanese garden, a large lake by an open field for games and picnics, a tearoom, a dog play area, kids play area, sculptures and much more!

Greggs Marathon

Fancy a marathon? Newcastle was crowned the ‘Gregg’s capital of the UK’ and is an iconic landmark. First established in Newcastle back in 1951 on Gosforth High Street, the nation’s favourite bakery has become a staple of Geordie culture and can be found on most highstreets. Join the legendary and tour round the city’s Greggs “Because greatness is earned, not given.”.
