Askham Bryan Wildlife and Conservation Park reopens, bringing new animals and fun for all the family this half-term

Askham Bryan Wildlife and Conservation ParkĀ reopenĀ after their Winter pause, welcoming visitorsĀ justĀ in time for February half-term on Saturday 14thĀ FebruaryĀ 2026.Ā
During the Winter pause, the Park underwent renovations of their Wildlife Corridor andĀ introducedĀ a variety of exciting new additions, including new enclosures and species.Ā
This February half-term sees the return of āKids Go Wild, Kids Go FREEā.Ā From Saturday 14thĀ February till Sunday 22ndĀ February, all children under 16 can enjoy Free entry into theĀ Park. Open daily from 10am till 4pm (lastĀ entry atĀ 3pm). FamiliesĀ can enjoy trails, talks,Ā craftsĀ and plenty of opportunities to explore.Ā Ā
Lauren Lane,Ā Animal Sciences, Conservation and Associated Enterprises Manager,Ā said: āIāmĀ so excited for the public to get to see whatĀ weāveĀ allĀ been working on these past few months. Our season ticket holders got the chance to have a sneak peek last weekend, soĀ IāmĀ really looking forward to opening it up wider.Ā
The team haveĀ alsoĀ workedĀ really hardĀ getting everything ready,Ā itāsĀ all been so rewarding.āĀ
