Askham Bryan College apprentice students recognised at this year’s Construction Plant-hire Association (CPA) Stars of the Future Awards

Askham Bryan College apprentice students have been recognised at this year’s Construction Plant-hire Association (CPA) Stars of the Future Awards 2026. Held on the 9th of July, apprentices and businesses from all over the country came together to celebrate the amazing work everyone is doing in the Construction Plant business.
Askham Bryan College was privileged to have two winners. Brodie Davis, won Regional Apprentice of the Year for Scotland, and Jarrad Thomas, received a Highly Commended award for the North Region. Both Brodie and Jarrad are employed by Selwood, who were also recognised for their outstanding commitment to supporting apprentice plant mechanics.
Christopher Suttill, Apprenticeship Course Manager said: “Being nominated for a CPA Stars of the Future Award is an achievement in itself and reflects the hard work and commitment the students have put in. Your a credit to yourselves, your employers, and the future of the construction plant industry. We’re looking forward to following your continued success and seeing the impact you will make in the years ahead.”
