This programme explores essential personal development and you will gain a qualification in personal development and employability at either level 1 or 2, dependent on initial assessment, as well as an additional introduction to sport qualification.

This programme that will investigate different areas of the workplace within sports! This short course is an optional addition and will assist you gain an additional qualification within a specific field and enable you to progress onto further education inside sport. The three units you can expect in this course are as follows:

Study skills – This unit will help you to understand how you can develop your personal learning skills, understand information provided as well as using it, and will teach you how to plan, manage and produce work at a high standard.

Health and Nutrition – This unit will teach you about the major food groups, the importance of nutrition to health and wellbeing, and help you understand how to manage a healthy and balanced diet.

Taking Part in Exercise – A foundation that introduces different types of exercise plans to help individuals to become more engaged in an active and healthier lifestyle.

For 19+ learners, the course is Free if you meet entitlement requirements. For example- British Citizen/ Residency in the UK for 3 years, unemployed, on benefits or a low income. If none of these apply, a fee will be charged.
