Progression and Development Sessions

All students enrolled on a Level 2 or Level 3 course will be required to attend Progression and Development sessions every week. We encourage students to find a placement close to home but we can assist with securing a placement for you as we have a dedicated placement officer.

Retail florists provide the best experience for students as they are able to work through all the very busy peak periods in the industry, Christmas, Valentine’s Day and Mothering Sunday, as well as experiencing the daily taking of orders for gifts, funeral and sympathy tributes and weddings. You are expected to undertake 150 hours once you have enrolled on the course, this has on many occasions led students to part- or full-time paid work.

A normal range of stationary is required for theory sessions.
