York Schools Taster Sessions 15 January 2026

We’re pleased to confirm that our York Taster Days will be running again this year on Tuesday 13th and Thursday 15th January 2026.

Please note this event is for select schools within the local area, if your school is not listed on the booking form then unfortunately you will not be able to book.

The day provides students with an opportunity to experience a chosen subject area, meet tutors, and explore what studying at Askham Bryan College is like.

Schedule:
Arrival from 9:15
Introduction at 9:30
Taster session in chosen department from 10:00
Departure at 12:30

Students will need to make their own travel arrangements and will be out of school for the morning/day, so you will need to get absence approval from your school in order to attend.
