The BSc (Hons) Applied Horticulture Top-Up degree programme is designed to be suitable for students progressing from a range of specialisms, including Horticulture and Arboriculture
There is a strong focus on business management throughout, supporting you on your degree as well as how this can be applied in your career.
The course will develop your knowledge and understanding of different areas of enterprise management, including; agri-business, marketing, human resource management, innovative practice and land based law.
A focus on the key aspect of species conservation, within a captive setting, promoting natural environments and behaviours to support conservation efforts.
You will gain experience in practical skills such as animal handling, health checking, monitoring and evaluating behaviour, training animals, design and maintenance of animal accommodation and assessing animal welfare.

The Wildlife and Environmental Conservation programme will provide a comprehensive understanding of the scientific study of wildlife and the diversity of living organisms.
