2023 Veterinary Nursing Congress

Askham Bryan College will hold its fifth annual Veterinary Nursing Congress on Friday 24 February 2023.  The all-day online conference offers a full programme of sessions about new research and developments in the field, presented by industry experts and academics. Professionals and students from the industry are invited to attend.

Sarah Reynolds-Golding, Curriculum Area Manager for the Veterinary Nursing Department at Askham Bryan College says, “After the increased accessibility the remote platform provided last year, and record attendance, we are delighted to once again welcome our guests and speakers to our Veterinary Nursing Congress in an online format. The platform enables us to accommodate more attendees and serves as a great forum for our peers and fellow colleagues to constructively share their latest research and development.”

Session topics for the conference include:
-Feline Behaviour
-Vet Nursing Specialty Clinics
-Imposter Syndrome
-Customer Care and Consulting
-Neurodiversity
-Managing the Cardiac Patient
-A Tortoise Hibernation Guide and Post-Hibernation Care
-Nursing the Dental Patient
-First Aid for Invertebrates
-Head Trauma Patients

The conference offers ten hours of Continued Professional Development and full recordings of all the sessions will be provided post-event.

Advance booking for this event is required. The cost is £20 for registration before 31 December 2022, and £30 from 1 January 2023 onwards. To book, go to our Askham Bryan Store.
