Caroline Cooke

Hi, my name is Caroline and I am the Student Recruitment Coordinator for Askham Bryan’s campuses in Middlesbrough and Gateshead. My role is to engage with schools, colleges, learners and other agencies to inform prospective students about everything that we do at Askham Bryan – our brilliant courses, unique student experience and inspirational college! I represent Askham Bryan at school assemblies, careers fairs and lots of other events, ensuring learners have everything they need to make an informed choice about their future education journey. Ultimately, I am really proud of the unique opportunities that Askham Bryan offers young people, and I want everyone one to know why it might be the right place for them!

I’m from Middlesbrough originally, although I lived for a long time in York and Leeds, before returning to the North East a few years ago. I have worked in education sine 2003, as a teacher, manager and recruitment coordinator. I really love working in this field and helping young people to gain the very best from their education and ensure they have a happy and fulfilling future.

I am the owner of two beautiful cats and in my spare time I love to read – books are my favourite thing in the world (except my cats!) I also love going to the cinema and theatre, and supporting my local football and ice hockey teams too.
