Hello I’m Hannah, as the Student Recruitment Coordinator at Askham Bryan College, I’m here to help students discover their potential & see the exciting opportunities available to them at Askham Bryan College. Through school visits, career fairs, presentations, workshops 7 events, I want to inspire students to explore their interests, discover new possibilities & see how they can build a great future doing something they love. Along with Sam, we cover the whole of Yorkshire, showcasing our Campuses in York, Wakefield & Saltaire.

Before working at Askham Bryan College I was a trainee Florist, having studied Floristry at Askham Bryan College and working full time in a local Florist alongside my course.

If I studied at Askham Bryan College again, I would love to study either RHS Horticulture or Forensic Science

Originally from Nidderdale, I spent 15 years working in Primary Education where I learnt the importance of showing young people what opportunities are out, they’re for them to have a future in a career they my enjoy. I’ve worked at Askham Bryan College for 5 years, having worked in Student Services, Transport & Accommodation before becoming Student Recruitment Coordinator, giving me a good understanding of the college.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, baking & getting creative. I also enjoy visiting my family home in Nidderdale & spending time with the animals on the farm. I’m always happiest when I’m trying something new, getting stuck into a creative project, or enjoying a cosy night in.
