Marketing and Student Recruitment Assistant
Hi, I’m Harriet! As part of the Marketing & Student Recruitment team it’s my role to help promote our College and University Centre to prospective students out there. I help manage and create content for the Askham Bryan social media pages, website, and support the wider marketing team with their promotional content and events. It is also part of my role to attend career fairs and assemblies at schools and colleges in the surrounding area to reach out to those prospective students. I also support the College internally as a part-time receptionist.
Before my time at Askham Bryan College, I studied a degree in Film & Television Production at the University of York for three years. I have also worked in television production for feature documentaries and series!
In my spare time, I’m usually found at York City Rowing Club six days a week; training in the gym or rowing down the Ouse on weekends!
If I could study one course at Askham Bryan College, it would either be Agriculture (because I love being busy and active outdoors!) or Animal Management so that I could spend all day with the animals here!
