What inspired you to pursue a career in your field?
This pathway was a natural development for me developing my veterinary nursing career. I enjoyed teaching veterinary nurse students and student veterinary surgeons when in practice and this progressed into full time teaching.
What do you enjoy most about your role at the college?
I enjoy seeing students complete the course and become Registered Veterinary Nurses.
Areas of Interest and Expertise
My research interests include ethics, medical nursing, teaching and future development for the veterinary nurse.
What advice would you give to students looking to succeed in your subject area?
My advice is to gain as much experience in the veterinary environment as possible in preparation for your studies.
