Why Live on Campus?
- It’s hard to feel lonely here, we organise sports and social events during the evenings which is a great way to meet people
- Living on campus helps you become more independent for your future life
- The close-knit campus means there’s always a friendly face around
- Great facilities such as the gym, Students’ Union, Learning Resource Centre, Internet Hub and Refectory are right on your doorstep
- Students aged over 18 are accommodated in areas for adults only
In the evening there is a team of Enrichment and Safeguarding Wardens who organise and run various activities for the students to participate in and are there to deal with any situations that arise.
Our Safeguarding telephone number is available to call 24 hours a day for any serious concerns students or parents may have (07773 312617).
Statement regarding Accommodation refunding for current students 24/04/2020
Following Government guidance it is not expected that the College will be able to reopen residential accommodation for the summer term. As a result we will be processing credits and/or refunds for student accommodation and associated catering over the next month. We will credit and/or refund all fees from 21 March 2020, when students were asked to leave College accommodation and will therefore not be seeking payment for residential accommodation for the summer term.
Refunds will be made back to the person currently paying the direct debit. No further direct debits will be taken by the College. If you have already cancelled your direct debit and missed your March payment you may owe some accommodation fees; we will be in touch once we have reconciled your account should there be an outstanding balance.
Should students be able to return to accommodation during this term, pro-rata charges will apply and will be communicated as necessary.
Any refunds processed will not include your accommodation bond. Bonds will only be refundable once our staff can return to site and can check each room, in-line with your accommodation agreement, this may not be until the end of the College academic year.
