Course Contents
This is a 3 day training course, 2 days of training with 1 day of assessments on a dedicated time.
- Understand and know how to prepare and operate a self-propelled mobile elevated work platform safely and to industry standards in line with current legislation.
- Have clear understanding of health, safety and risk in relation to a mobile eleveated work platform.
- Know how to do pre-use checks and operation before using a MEWP.
- Understand and know how to travel and manoeuvre the machine.
- Understand relevant regulations
Course Requirements
The minimum age limit for Candidates taking Certificates of Competence is 16 years. There is no upper age limit.
Other Important Information
City and Guilds will no longer produce physical skills card upon a successful completion of this accreditation. Candidates can expect to receive a digital skills card which they will be able to access through their online portal. The training centre will be unable to send or provide this upon completion. All candidates will also need to provide ID on the day of their assessment as proof of identification. Failure to do this may result in your assessment being suspended.
